FAQ KBBQ TOUR 🥩

FAQ KBBQ TOUR 🥩

Curious about how our Korean BBQ tour works? You're not alone! Here are some of the most common questions we receive, all answered in one place to help you prepare for a delicious and smooth experience.

1. Where exactly do we meet?

Please note that the meeting location may differ from what's shown in your booking app or confirmation page. But don't worry, we’ll always send you the correct meeting point in a separate message before the tour.

Good news: wherever you're staying in Seoul city, it typically takes less than 50 minutes by subway to get to our meeting spot.

2. Can I request beef instead of pork BBQ?

We mainly feature pork BBQ on this tour, and here’s why:

  • Pork is the most common KBBQ type in Korea, it's what locals casually eat the most.
  • Most Korean BBQ restaurants specialize in just one type of meat, so many of the places we go don’t serve beef.
  • This is a group tour (max. 7 people) with only 2 shared grills, so preparing beef separately just for one or two people can feel awkward for the group dynamic and logistically tricky.

If you’re specifically looking for a beef-focused experience, feel free to reach out and I’ll gladly give you some recommendations!

3. Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to adapt. However, we want to be upfront: this tour is not ideal for vegetarians.

While some restaurants offer grillable mushrooms or vegetable sides, these are typically cooked on the same grill as the meat. Also, the stew that’s usually served often contains meat or meat-based broth, which can’t always be replaced.

If you have severe dietary restrictions, we recommend reaching out beforehand, or we’re happy to suggest alternative food experiences that might suit your needs better.

4. Is alcohol included or available during the tour?

One drink is included in the tour! If you’d like more, you’re welcome to order extra drinks at your own expense to enjoy the full Korean BBQ experience.
