In Korea, it can be a little tricky to enjoy Korean BBQ alone, many restaurants won’t serve it to solo diners, and it's something locals usually experience together. That’s where I come in. I can be your food buddy. My friends and I were born and raised in Seoul, and we’ve spent years discovering the best K-BBQ spots the city has to offer, from long-time neighborhood favorites to newly trending restaurants. If you're looking for a truly local experience, one that skips the tourist traps and brings you straight to the heart of real Korean BBQ culture, this is the one to book.

Each month, we visit a different restaurant, handpicked by me and my friends based on our personal favorites and what’s hot in the local food scene. During the experience, we’ll enjoy various cuts of pork that Koreans typically love, like pork belly, jowl meat, pork neck, and more. If the tour takes place in the evening, we can also enjoy Korean drinks like soju or makgeolli together, and I’ll teach you some classic Korean drinking games. (Please note that more that only 1 drink is included in the tour price and more drinks will be charged separately.)

One important thing to mention: this experience is not a cultural lecture or a formal tour about Korean food traditions. It’s more about sharing a real, casual meal together, the way we actually eat it. So if you're expecting an in-depth guide to traditional etiquette, this might not be what you're looking for. But if you want to sit down, eat great BBQ, chat, laugh, and experience how locals truly enjoy their food, you’re in the right place. I’ll still happily show you howĀ I like to eat my BBQ.
